Connect VoiceCap to Claude or ChatGPT
VoiceCap runs a Model Context Protocol server. Add one URL to Claude or ChatGPT, sign in with your VoiceCap account, and your meetings become something you can ask about without leaving the app you are already working in.

https://voicecap.ai/api/mcpThere are no API keys. Signing in uses VoiceCap's own OAuth, with a consent screen that spells out what the client will be able to read and what it cannot do.
What you can ask
Six capabilities, every one of them read-only. Recordings are Lithuanian-first, so ask in either language.
- Search across everything
- Finds moments in transcript text, summaries, decisions and titles at once, and returns short excerpts with a link that opens the recording at that second.
- Where did we talk about the warehouse system upgrade?
- List meetings
- Which meetings exist, with title, date and length, and nothing of what was said in them.
- Which client calls did we record in March?
- Read one meeting
- One meeting's summary, key topics, decisions, action items and participants.
- Summarise the board meeting from 12 March.
- Read the transcript
- The exact words from a 15-minute window, with speaker names and timestamps. Page through it to read a whole meeting.
- Read me what Tomas said about the pricing objection.
- List decisions
- Decisions recorded across your meetings, each with the context it was made in.
- What have we decided about the Vilnius office lease?
- List action items
- Action items across your meetings, with an owner and whether they are done.
- What is still open on me from last week?
How to connect
Pick the flow for the app you are in. All three end the same way, on VoiceCap's consent screen.
Claude Team or Enterprise
- A workspace admin adds a custom connector in Claude's workspace settings, using the URL above.
- Everyone in that Claude workspace then sees VoiceCap, with nothing left to set up.
- The first time each person uses a VoiceCap tool, they sign in to VoiceCap and approve access.
Claude Pro or Max
- Add the same URL as a custom connector in your own connector settings.
- Ask Claude something about one of your meetings.
- On that first tool call, sign in to VoiceCap and approve access.
ChatGPT
- Add the same URL as a custom connector.
- Deep research works against your archive too, because the server ships the two tools it calls by name.
- On the first tool call, ChatGPT sends you to sign in to VoiceCap and approve access.
What it can see
Exactly your own access
Every call is filtered to the meetings you could already open in VoiceCap, and it is checked again each time you ask. Viewers work too. An empty answer means you cannot see that meeting, not that it does not exist.
Read-only, always
There is no tool that creates, edits or deletes anything in VoiceCap. The most a connected client can do is read something you can already read.
Admins keep a switch
An owner or admin can turn the connectors off for the whole workspace, or disconnect everyone at once, from Settings > Integrations.
You manage your own clients
Settings > Profile lists every AI client you have approved, when you approved it and when it last connected. Disconnect one and its access stops immediately.
Your excerpts go to that provider
Once you connect, the parts of your meetings you ask about are sent to Claude or ChatGPT and handled under that provider's terms rather than ours. That is the trade, and if you would rather not make it, leave the connector off.
Included on every plan
MCP access comes with Free, Pro and Business, and it is not metered: tool calls never touch your transcription minutes. Each person gets 60 calls a minute and 2,000 a day.
