What the app can do

A plain map of what's available on the phone today and what still needs the web dashboard.

The app covers day-to-day meeting work: recording, uploading, reading, sharing, and basic team administration. Organization-wide setup and billing still route to the web dashboard, opened from inside the app rather than rebuilt for the phone.

Meetings

FeatureOn the phone
RecordRecord a meeting live, with pause, resume and discard. See Recording on your phone.
UploadPick an audio or video file from Files or Voice Memos and upload it, with the same format and size limits as Uploading a recording.
Meeting botPaste a Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Webex link and send the bot now or at a scheduled time, the same as Meeting bot. Only shown when your organization has turned on live meeting bots.
BrowseMy meetings and Shared with me, grouped by day, with pull-to-refresh and infinite scroll.
SearchFull-text search across your transcripts.

Reading a meeting

FeatureOn the phone
Summary, transcript, actionsThe same content as Reading a transcript and Summaries: summary text and key topics, a transcript you can tap to jump the player to that line, and action items you can check off. There's no separate decisions view; the web meeting page has one and the app doesn't yet.
PlaybackAudio, with a 15-second skip either way. Video plays too, for a meeting-bot recording that captured one.
EditingRename a meeting. Rename or merge detected speakers.
DeletingDelete a meeting you have permission to delete.

Sharing

FeatureOn the phone
ShareTurn on organization-wide access, turn on Anyone with the link can view (with copy and regenerate), share to specific groups, invite people by email, and revoke anyone's access. Whoever opens the link still has to log in, on the phone the same as on the web. Same underlying model as Share links.
After-meeting emailTurn the automatic recap email to participants on or off, per meeting.
ExportExport a meeting as PDF, Word, plain text or SRT subtitles, with sections you can include or leave out, through your phone's own share sheet.

Team

FeatureOn the phone
InviteInvite someone by email with a role, and see how many paid seats your organization is using. Owner and Admin only.
Change a roleChange a member's role. Owner and Admin only; you can't promote anyone to Owner from the app, the same as on the web. See Roles.
GroupsEvery member can see the group list. Owner and Admin can create, rename, manage membership, and delete a group.

Account

FeatureOn the phone
ProfileEdit your name, and set your summary-language preference.
NotificationsTurn on push and email alerts for when a transcription finishes; tapping a push notification opens that meeting.
Sign out and delete accountBoth live in Settings. Deleting your account asks you to type DELETE to confirm.

What stays on the web

  • Removing or deactivating a team member, and everything about billing: adding a payment method, changing plan, buying seats. Settings links out to the web dashboard for all of it, and on iOS those links are hidden entirely rather than pointing at a purchase flow, following App Store rules on external payments.
  • Organization settings: name, domains, defaults.
  • Changing your password. See Changing your password.
  • Creating your account and organization in the first place. See Creating an account.

If you're a Viewer

A free Viewer account gets a smaller version of the app: a single Shared with you list, search limited to what's been shared with you, and the same account and about settings as everyone else. Recording, uploading, sharing, exporting, team and groups aren't there at all, matching what a Viewer can't do on the web either. See Roles.
