Companies and people
See every company you've met with, grouped by email domain, with each company's people, open action items, decisions and meetings, and filter the meetings list by company or person.
Go to Companies for a list of the outside companies you've met with. VoiceCap groups the people
in your meetings by the domain of their email address, so everyone writing from acme.lt counts as
one company. A company only appears once a meeting you can open includes someone from it.
Personal email addresses (Gmail, Outlook and other free providers) aren't companies, so they're left out. So are your own organization's domains: your colleagues never show up as a client.
The Companies list
Each row shows the company's name, its email domains, and:
- Last met, the date of the most recent meeting with them that you can open.
- How many meetings and how many people from the company you've met.
- How many open action items those meetings still have, when there are any.
The list shows the 500 companies you met most recently. When there are more, a note under the list says so.
A company with no meeting for 30 days or more gets a badge with the number of days, for example Quiet for 41 days.
Above the list:
- Type in Search companies… to match a company's name or any of its domains.
- Use the sort menu to order the list by Last met (the default, most recent first), Name or Meetings.
- Click Quiet 30+ days to show only the companies you haven't met for 30 days or more. The number on the button is how many there are, and the button is off when there are none. Click it again to show every company.
When nothing matches, click Clear filters to empty the search and show every company again.
A company's page
Click a company to open its page. Under the name you'll see its domains, when you last met, and how many meetings and people there are. The page has four sections:
- People: everyone from the company who was in, or invited to, a meeting you can open, with their email and how many of those meetings they were in, the people you meet most often first. Click a name to open that person's page. Someone who was only on a calendar invite and was never added as a person has no page of their own. When there are more than 200 people, the section shows the 200 you meet most often and says so.
- Open action items: action items from those meetings that aren't marked done yet, each with who it's assigned to and a link to the meeting. When the item has a moment in the recording, the link opens the meeting at that moment. When there are many, the section shows the most recent ones and says so; open a meeting to see all of its action items.
- Decisions: decisions from those meetings, newest first, each with a link to its meeting.
- Meetings: the 20 most recent meetings. When there are more, a link below them (for example See all 34 meetings) opens the full list.
Open in Meetings opens the meetings list with the Company filter already set, where you can narrow further by date, group or status.
Renaming a company
A company without a name shows its domain. To give it one, click Rename on the company's page, type the name and click Save.
The name applies to every domain in the company, for everyone in your organization. Give two
companies the same name and they become one company: if acme.lt and acme.com are both named
"Acme", they share one row and one page, and their meetings and people are counted together.
Viewers can open company and person pages like everyone else, but they can't rename a company.
A person's page
A person's page shows their email and, when it's on a company's domain, that company (click it to open the company's page). Below are the same open action items, decisions and meetings, limited to meetings that person was in or invited to. Action items assigned to them come first, with their name in bold. The link at the top leads back to their company, or to All companies when they have none.
Unless you have oversight (see below), a person's page opens only when at least one meeting with them is one you can open.
You can reach a person's page from a company's People section, or from the People card on a meeting: click someone's name, then Open person page. When someone on that card has a company name, click the company name, then Open company page to open the company's page the same way.
Filtering the meetings list
On Meetings, the Company and Person filters narrow the list to meetings with someone from one company, or with one person. Both are in the page address, so you can bookmark a filtered list or send the link to a colleague. They see the meetings from that list that they can open themselves.
Both filters show only your own organization's meetings, the same ones the company and person pages count, so a meeting another organization shared with you isn't in a filtered list. For the same reason, the two filters aren't available while the list shows External meetings.
Everything counts only what you can open
Every number and list on these pages comes from the meetings you can already open. The visibility rule is the same one Search and Decisions follow: a private meeting only counts if you recorded or uploaded it, it was shared with you or with a group you're in, it's shared with the whole organization, or you're the organization's Owner with oversight turned on, or an Admin the Owner gave oversight to (Business). Two people in the same organization can see different counts for the same company, and a company you can't open any meeting with doesn't appear for you at all.
